Cap's Martial Arts is a taekwondo school located in Bloomington, MN. Our owner has over a decade of instruction experience and has studied many martial arts. We are dedicated to the growth and advancement of our students through the five tenets of taekwondo: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Indomitable Spirit.
We teach that the mental and physical aspects of training go hand in hand with the development of the student. Our teaching philosophy is based on the principles of respect, self-discipline, and perseverance. We strive to create a positive and supportive training environment where students can learn and achieve.
We offer a variety of classes to meet the needs of every student. From beginner to advanced, we have classes in taekwondo and we also provide personal training for those looking to reach their fitness goals. Our hour long classes are designed to improve strength, flexibility, and overall fitness while teaching valuable self-defense skills. Personal training is designed from the ground up to help each client reach their individual goals.
Steve has been training in martial arts for over 20 years and has a background in many styles from various countries including: South Korea, Okinawa, and China. A broad experience in martial arts gives Steve a depth of knowledge and experience that only comes with training under multiple masters. Master Rogers is a 4th degree black belt in taekwondo, a 3rd degree black belt in hapkido, and is experienced in kung fu and karate.
Steve has also been a personal trainer for over a decade, providing goal oriented training sessions to clients in the Twin Cities area. With a passion for martial arts and fitness, Cap's is the place to train for anyone seeking to improve their strength, endurance, flexibility as well as those seeking to gain self defense skills and develop confidence .
